Core Licence Question

Hi we are testing the performance of an 8 core licence.

If we want to test our apps on a 4 core engine - could we adjust the number of allocated cores in the QMC to 4 and reduce the number of physical cores on the machine?

Any advice appreciated,

Yes. Adjust to 4 and restart the Engine service. From there, the Engine will be bound to just 4 logical processors / cores.
