Error when logging in via iPAD: "Cannot connect to Qlik Sense Engine. Possible ...."

Hello everybody,

when I try to log in to the Qlik Sense Server via an iPad I get the following

Error message: "Cannot connect to Qlik Sense Engine. Possible cause: too many open connections, the service is offline or there are network problems"

Access via a normal browser works without problems.
Access to the same machine via VPN is also possible (also via the iPAD) I did the test for the websockets and it actually looks good!

(See picture below)

What else could it be? I look forward to your tips!

Many thx
best regards
Christoph

PS: Unfortunately, that didn't bring me to the solution - but at least to test the websockets

Hello everybody,

One more point that I forgot:
If I call up the server directly in Safari on the iPad, there are no problems!

But the same error message appears when using the Qlik Sense mobile app on an Android device.

Do you have any ideas what else I could test?

best regards
Christoph

Unfortunately I don't have a solution yet!
Could it be because the Qlik Sense Server and App versions are different?

HI Christoph,

Do you have a trusted SSL certificate on the Sense proxy? Apple devices are very strict with self-signed certificates.

Thanks,

Simon

Unfortunately I still don't have a solution!
We have brought all systems up to date
November 2020

Still the same error message.....

Could it be because of settings within the firewall? Is there a difference between calling it via the browser and the app?

Many thx
Christoph
