Hi,
We currently have a single AWS instance as our production node. We were looking at potentially moving to having one instance for reload, and one for hosting.
Does anyone know if there's any documentation for how to go about this / how complex this is?
And in terms of what resources we would need, are there any good documents on how to size RAM / CPU etc based on requirements beyond trial and error?
Thanks.
Hello @rnorris ,
To move from a single node to a multi-node setup you would want to add a node to the cluster, verify things are working on the node, and test things before distributing duties to that rim.
See the answer here: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Deployment-Management/Multi-Node-for-OnPrem-AWS/td-p/1593322 and just change the Qlik Help link to match your Sense version.
For sizing, refer to the answer here, where we talk about concurrent users, # of apps, and app complexity:

You may also want to use Scalability Tools to assist you there:

I hope that helps!
