ODBC Directory Connector PostgreSQL - working but confused :-)

Hi Experts,

Until now we have been using Active Directory to manage users and use AD Security Groups to limit/allow stream access.

We need to move away from AD and I've successfully set up a new ODBC User Directory in PostgreSQL.   I noticed when configuring the connection that I needed a table to store Users and a second table to store User Attributes.  Can anyone advise on how I could use this Attributes table to manage stream/app access?

Any examples would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Dai

You can use security rule to manage the access on the stream and app based on the user attributes:

Qlik Sense security rule for specific stream and application

Security rules example: Access to stream by user attributes
