Override email user settings

Under a user's profile settings, is there a way to override the user notification settings? For example, if a user has email notifications setup on Spaces, as an admin, can I override that setting and turn it off? screenshot for reference.

Hello @mgranillo,

I am afraid this does not exist currently out of the box, you could disable the notifications for all the users, but you cannot edit the setting for each one of the users.

If you would like such functionality, you could always open an Idea on our Ideation platform.

Hello  @mgranillo,

Correct, those are the default settings, if no SMTP server has been set up on the tenant then the email notifications will be fray for for the users.

Let me know if any further doubt.

A secondary question I have is can I setup a default notifications profile for new users? I'm concerned about new users receiving undesired email notifications.

Hello @mgranillo,

Thanks for that clarification.  Do you know the default email settings when a new users onboards? I don't have an email server setup yet so all options are greyed out in the attached screenshot from my tenant but some of them have a check mark. Are those the default settings?

i have not found any configuration related to what are the default settings for all users related to this.  Does any such documentation exist? When this is set up, SMTP server configured, what are the default settings related to this, and will all users start getting emails about being added to a space, etc?
