Qlik Sense Edit - No Left Menu

Windows updates were installed this weekend and now when we attempt to go into edit mode in any app, we are only seeing a black strip where the left side menu would normally be:

Have tried stopping and restarting services, but that doesn't seem to change anything.

Has anyone experienced this before?

I would do an install repair.

I should have come back to post  - a reboot of the server restored the assets panel to normal.
