Hi!
I'm planning to install a new Qlik Sense Enterprise instance. It would be small, with no more than 8 users at a time and around 4 or 5 apps, so i was thinking on making the deployment in a Windows 10 machine. I've read in the Qlik Sense website that W10 is supported but is only recomended for testing and development. My question is if is there someone has experience or can give testimony of a QS Enterprise deployment on Windows 10 for production purposes.
Any help will be appreciate.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @francisco_garcia ,
As you noted, the 64-bit version of Windows 10 is supported for installing and testing Qlik Sense Enterprise:

However, this is not supported for Production, only testing and development. At the outset there are always additional concerns around scalability, as 4-5 small apps is a very different scale than 4-5 large apps. 8 concurrent users may not be a lot but you would also want to consider the total number of users against the resources that are available. It's also common for test environments to have other software installed on the same machine, which is also not recommended for production.
If you plan to expand your app count, user count, app complexity, development and consumption of apps then the best practice is to use a platform that is supported for production and a dedicated environment for Qlik Sense Enterprise:
I hope that helps!
