Is it possible to have multiple app location folders on Qlik Sense Server?
The default locations is C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Apps
Is it possible to have something like this;
C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Client1\Apps
C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Client2\Apps
A Qlik Sense Server opportunity is seeking clarification on complete data partitioning via mounted folders that keep Client1 and Client2 data in separate folders.
We are aware we can use Streams and authentication controls on the frontend access management.
We are aware the QVD folders can be on separate mounted folders and referenced via the Data Connections libraries.
It's specifically the app Binaries we're focused on.
Hello @siz_mahleka,
Unfortunatly there is not a way to have more than 1 app location on the Qlik Sense server. By default the app folder will be located in the Shared Folder that is created during the install of Qlik Sense.
Within the shared folder you will have the Apps, ArchivedLogs, and StaticContent folders. All of this information is displayed in the QMC under "Service Cluster".
If you have a good uses case for this, then I would suggest creating an post within the Idea section of the Qlik Community,.

I hope this answers your question. If it does, please mark the post as answered.
Thank you!
