I´m currently testing how long it takes to open a qlik sense app with mobile devices /mobile internet.
I use the google Chrome Develooper Tools to emulate an iPhone 6 Plus and a specific networkconnection. I tested against:
EDGE 250 Kbps, 300 RTT
3G 750 Kbps, 100 ms RTT
WiFi 30 Mbps, 2ms RTT
3G and WiFi works fine, but i have a Problem with EDGE.
With EDGE its possible to login and open the Hub. If i try to open the Testapp (Its a App with just a little amount of Data and only one Worksheet) it takes in average 47,34 seconds (tried it 5 times) and it the qlik sense hub stops loading. The Result is a blank, white screen an an error in the debuggin console.
The Error is:
Uncaught Error: Load timeout for modules assets/client/client
I tried to find a place in the MMC where i could set a higher timeout, but didn´t find anything matching. Is there a way to do this or is it maybe not possible to open an app with EDGE ?
I know the at least 3G is standard nowadays but there are several areas in Germany where you only can get EDGE (depending on your provider) so it would be nice to have the possibilities to open an app with EDGE, even if it takes a longer time.
