There was an error when getting license information from the license service

Hi, when I go to activate my license in offline environment of Qlik Sense Enterprise through SLD after following all the steps of https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Long-term-offline-use-for-Qlik-Sense-and-Qli... , it gives me this error and doesn't let me apply the license.

And these are the proxy ports. The 443 port is working correctly.

I have also tried what this article says without success: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/There-was-an-error-when-getting-license-info...

That being the case it is likely the issue resides inside the server itself and that not all the port allowances are in place. If any one of them is not defined, the whole of the system stop serving licenses. Some folk will just do the TCP definitions and not UDP. Others will just do inbound and not outbound. In the end, all of them are needed though.

Dear @mtarazona ,

One possible reason for this error is that there is a version mismatch between the SSL protocol used by your client and the server. This can happen if the client is using an outdated or unsupported version of SSL. You can try updating your SSL library to the latest version that is compatible with the server.

Another possible reason for this error is that there is an issue with your proxy configuration. You can check your proxy settings and make sure that the Qlik Sense ports are opened. If you are using a proxy, you may need to update the Service Dispatcher Config file .

If you are still unable to apply the license, I recommend reaching out to Qlik Support for further assistance.

Hi @mtarazona

You are mixing things in your captures, when they talk sbout port 443 it does not refer to your proxy configuration, but to be able to connect to Qlik Cloud license service by this port

What you should do is access your server via remote desktop and make sure that from there you can see the following if you put https://license.qlikcloud.com:443 in the server's browser

if not, i could be because of a proxy configuration and you could try doing

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-admin/may2023/Subsystems/DeployAdministerQSE/Content/Sense_DeployA...

Also, keep in mind that offline activations are not 100% allowed due to default and that if required, it requires an entire approval process by Qlik.
In most cases, the SLD process must be repeated every 3 months and you will be left without qlik service until you do it.

hope this helps.
