Unbundle Qliksense repository database

Hello,

I have used QPI (Qliksense postgreSQL Installer) to unbundle and upgrade to prosgreSQL 14.8 for existing qliksense database. I'm currently setting up a new server and installed Qliksense enterprise on it, QS repository database (with postgreSQL 14.8) was included in the package and got installed.

I need to unbundle it so that the new system matches the existing systems. I tried using QPI but postgreSQL 14.8 version is already installed so it did not give me an option to only unbundle it. I realized I should have installed the database using QPI before installing Qliksense enterprise.

Please let me know if there is any way to only unbundle the database?

Hi, 

I think the easiest way to achieve this is to:

• Stop all Qlik Sense Service except the Repository Database

• Stop the Database Service

Thanks for the solution. I went through the documentation but as mentioned I cannot use QPI to unbundle  because the database is already version 14.8, I checked if I can manually download it from postgreSQL website but the version available is 14.12. My goal is to have all my environments with same configuration so this will probably not serve my purpose.
