What's the use of the check box in tMap?

Hello,

I have searched a lot but couldn't find why there is a little box between the columns "Type" and "Variable" in tMap's middle section.

You can check or uncheck the box, but I don't see it doing anything either way.

I'm attaching a screenshot with a red circle where the box is.

That checkbox is there in the event the row is nullable; so that the mapping does not error out.
