Amazon S3 V2 for Dummies, need help

Hi All,

I'm using amazon S3 V2 connector for the first time, I managed to get to this point:

Pico_0-1689930612337.png

 and I have some question:

- The bucket name is something I can choose or I do find it somewhere and have to use EXATCLY that one?

- As for the region, do I choose the closest one to me or there is another rule?

- what if I receive the error "StatusCode Forbidden, ErrorCode Forbidden"?

Thank you very much.

I looked here but couldn't find any useful info

Hi @Pico

The Amazon S3 V2 connector allows you to connect to your own S3 bucket, within your AWS account.

The information you enter here should match what you entered when you set up that S3 bucket. See here for the AWS docs on how to do that: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/create-bucket-overview.html

Generally, the region for your S3 bucket should match the region that Qlik Cloud is deployed in.

The problem was that I was using QlikSense Enterprise on Windows, which is not supported.

Trying on Cloud instead worked perfectly fine.
