Qlik Cloud has recently changed the view of the information when you click on the details of a Qlik Cloud App.
The previous view would actually show a date when the App was Updated/Published/Created etc. Now it shows how many hours/months/years when the App was Updated/Published/Created etc.
Auditors want to see an actual date.
Is there an App that will show me the actual dates when the App was Updated/Published/Created etc or is there a setting I can change to see these dates again?
Hi Terry,
You can get the info you need from your Qlik Cloud Monitoring Apps. The App Analyzer pulls app metadata directly from the Qlik Cloud Apps API and displays the actual timestamps for you, instead of the relative "X hours/days ago" format for Created, Modified, and Published dates across all your apps.
However, one thing worth noting for the auditors is that the "Last Modified" date in Qlik Cloud updates not only when sheet or object design changes are made, but also when an app is reloaded. I just wanted to add that context to share with your audit team.
Hope this helps,
Shemeka
Can you tell me which Sheet/Asset contains the following dates as I do not currently see one.
Last Updated / Last Reloaded / Created / Last Published
Regards
Terry
My apologies, Terry. The date data is pulled from the Qlik Cloud API in the background when the app reloads, but it looks like it isn't exposed on any of the current sheets.
I'm currently testing a possible solution to solve this issue using a simple app, and I'll share it with you once I have it working.
