Windows login without domain prefix

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way for users to drop the domain-prefix and only provide username and password when accessing Sense through form login (as with ipad/iphone/mac).
The server is hosted in Amazon and has a cumbersome name, impossible to remember when on the road.

I found a similiar case (with solution) in qlik forum: https://community.qlik.com/thread/83004, but I cannot find the same login files to do this in Sense.

Any idea how to manage this with a limited effort?
I would avvoid creating a custom authentication module if possible.

Ole-Jakob has articulated really well this challenge with Qlik Sense. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
