'Add new' Button missing, alternative ways to load data?

I am relatively new to this software, and I usually replace my old data with new ones at the homepage. But my 'add new' button is gone (which is the one i usually upload data before i go into data load editor) and i dont know how it went missing. can anyone who knows about this help me out?

With the newly reorganized menus, the path to get to the data file upload has moved.   From the Analytics screen, look at the menu found on the left-hand side of the screen.  Press the "+ Create" menu item found just under the "Home" menu item.  Near the bottom of the list of tiles that appears, you will find a "Data and Upload" section.  I think you will find what you are looking for there.

If you push the "Data Set" button, in the upper right corner of the screen that appears you will see a green "Upload Data File" button.  Press that.  From there, you can upload data into spaces.
