The SMTP server settings appear to reject anything that fails to match the bare pattern word@domain.ext. In the nprinting settings, email, default sender email, is it possible to get Nprinting to send emails with a from address like
"Company Reporting Server" <donotreply@company.com>
so that users will see "Company Reporting Server" in their outlook? Some users think "donotreply@company.com" is phishing/spam.
Hi,
No, the only option you have is the one visible so insert just an email address.
You could create that email address to be more friendly for users.

thanks for confirming. We will probably go with an address like Company.Reports@company.com since that appears to be a little more friendly with the camel case. The issue is that these bare email addresses stand out in the user's inbox since most legitimate email displays as a friendly name.
Also a best practice we endeavor to follow is that the actual email should contain a line like
For questions about this report, or to be added to the distribution list, contact arealperson@company.com.
but many people do not read. And if you put that person's email in the from address directly, they will get all the bounces and vacation emails every time a report is sent.
Hi,
You could evaluate also to customize the sender for each publish task instead of using the default.
