Excel Report in nprinting-rows limitation

Hi community.

Is there exist any workaround to have all rows from Qlikview table inside Nprinting excel report?

I am using Qlikview 11, I have report with many rows. I created Excel report in Nprinting, but it cuts report on row 65537, even tho excel report in Nprinting can manage more than milion rows.

Is there a workaround how to manage to have all rows in report, as I need to keep exact formating as in Qlikview table?

Thanks.

I have not heard of any row limitations and this may need to be addressed by someone from NPrinting.  Is it a straight table or pivot table?

Just out of curioisty, what is the business requirement tohave a report that is over 66K lines?  Whether that is an issue or not, is there a way to break it up with levels or pages to make it more user friendly? or this this output being used as input someplace else down the line

does the report have multiple tabs/pages?  I have read in excel files that are more than 65k but have run into issues when an NPrinting customer created a report that had so many tabs, it errored out

Hi Adam ,

Thank you for reply, I have managed to export all rows of report (in my case more than 99430).

My client wanted to have excel attachment with all data included inside .

Natalija -

Glad to hear you were able to export all the rows. Please refer to this document for future Excel exports: Does NPrinting Generate Excel Reports with More Than 65536 Rows?

I am not quite sure, but my guess is the extention of template (I have done many stuff yesterday, trying to resolve it)

To have over milion rows should be used .xlsx insted .xlsm

Hi,

QlikView NPrinting will only display 65,536 rows when previewing an Excel report (as xls, xlsx or xlsm) if the template has not been saved. Once the template has been saved, previewing as xls will restrict output to 65,536 rows whereas previewing as xlsx or xlsm will not have that restriction.  Running the report in a task will also have the number of rows restricted to 65,536 if the output format is set to xls but not if set to xlsx or xlsm.

HTH - Daniel.
