Trying to find an object in a Sense app based on the object id.
The object is used in a NPrinting report and from the NPrinting Editor I can see that it exists, how it looks like and in which Sense app it is located. But I'm going slightly mad trying to find it in the Sense application? It is nowhere to be seen?
The person who built the NPrinting report is no longer available and I'm tasked with doing some changes to the measures in the object. But then first I have to find the object!
It is quite possible the object is in someones private sheet. But there are 100s of private sheets!
I can suggest a couple of methods.
1. I of course prefer my tool QSDA Pro. QSDA Pro will collect all the metadata for an app, including private sheets, and then you can filter the Viz page to the object Id of interest.
QSDA Pro is a paid tool and it does a whole lot more.
2. If you don't want to go the QSDA Pro route, an alternative method is the wonderful free tool Qlik Explorer for Developers. Expand the app in QED and set a filter for the object id.
If you use the certificate connection type with an admin id, objects on private sheets should be visible as well.

The problem is the other way around!

Great little tool that Qlik Explorer for Developers , exactly what I were looking for!
Unfortunately I still can't find the object id even though it works for finding other ids?
Almost like it is a ghost object? But it is visible through the connection in NPrinting Editor?
And I'm connected to the same application and with the same login!
Looks like I have to recreate the 3 objects I can't find in order to adjust them and then replace them.
