How to get the deleted users / user groups if deleted incorrectly, is there any way to get the existing users and their groups

Hi Team,

We are facing an issue like, we imported the users list/users group and filter by mistakenly checked check box

Remove user group if not present in the list.

So it removed users group, now I needs to restore the users as per previous users and user group.

Can you please help us to get the backup users and user groups.

Regards,

Hi @Correct_Answer

Please create meaningful posts - you have made 4 posts regarding the same issue. In none of those posts you made effort to ask the question and provide all details and you just used high level vague description. From that description I know exactly what you have done but people who have less experience would have no idea - therefore please invest your time to:

  • think through the question and topic you want to discuss
  • understand that we are not there with you so we need all steps to replicate all your steps
  • use screenshots and build nice description to describe the problem, steps you have taken, goal you want to achieve, studies you made on subject (so we dont replicate answers you tried) and lastly any unusual configuration
  • study https://help.qlik.com to see if answer to obvious question is not documented - (which in this case clearly is, as you need to use backup to roll back changes done to repository)
    • you could use audit trail if you had it enabled to see the changes you have done
  • study community for existing post - you made 4 topics talking about the same thing which clearly is creating mess - 4 questions all asking about the same thing does not help other who search for answers.

You may want to delete those posts which are clear duplication of the topic.
