How to restrict empty chart result object in Nprinting Pixelperfect

Hi,

I have pie chart built in Qlik sense application, this is being used as an object in Qlik Nprinting . Based on Banding , i found out for some of the levels of band, because of no data availability,

the error message like - " The chart is not displayed because it contains only negative or zero values".

This appears correct as in Qlik app. My question is can we restrict objects that have no data in template , to reduce the empty space in pages.? (Visibility option in properties , will it work for images/charts with conditions)

I am using pixelperfect template. The visibility restriction function works well on tables as levels, but for images , is it achievable? .if so, how to restrict empty images/charts in pages ?

TIA,

Hi,

Are you adding the Qlik Sense chart as an image or as a PixelPerfect native chart? Are you adding it inside a level band? Could you share some screenshots of the template?

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Hi ,

Yeah I am using Qlik sense chart , not an native pixelperfect chart.

Yes, I am using inside a level band.(inside a detail dialog).

however i could not able to select a Data Member in properties, as this is just an image object .

The template is simple, for a level banding combination. under one of the detail report dialog it has been placed.

Hi,

Ok you are adding a Qlik Sense chart as an image inside the detail band of a level. You have some bands in the generated report because you are creating the level with the field. In this case it will create a band for each distinct value of the field.

I suggest you to create a straight table on the source app by using the same field and a measure in order to have rows only for the values of the field that have data. Then refresh the connection cache, close and reopen the Designer and use that table to create the level. In this case you will have a details band only for each row of the table and no bands will be created for field values with no data.
