I've create connection from QLik Nprinting 17.3 to Qliksense May 2022 and found error
'Error Request has been purged due to connection errors.'
Hi,
Qlik NPrinting 17.3 is not more supported for years and must not be used anymore. You have to upgrade to a supported version as soon as possible.
BEFORE starting the upgrade READ CAREFULLY the official documentation related to the upgrading process because starting from a 5 year old version requires intermediate steps. If you do those steps wrongly the upgrade fails. The upgrade process is documented in the official help site at https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Qlik-NPrinting-... and in the Release Notes of the final version, for example, https://community.qlik.com/t5/Release-Notes/Qlik-NPrinting-Release-notes-May-2022-Service-Release-4/...
You must do a manual backup following https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/Backup-restore....
Only AFTER reading the whole documentation and creating a backup copy of your installation, you can start the upgrade process.

Normally Qlik Supports it products for two years. NPrinting 17.3 was released for 5 years ago and QV May 2022 last year. There are 4 years difference between the two and there is probably no support for your combination.
You should consider upgrading to a supported version, there has been a lot of improvements in NPrinting since 17.3.

Answer is: NO! No not supported. Nprinting must be on the same or newer release than Qlik Sense or in case we talk about most recent versions of Nprinting you must check documentation (https://help.qlik.com) for supported Qlik Sense version.
I will also add that you should consider training before starting any work with NPrinting as it is enterprise tool which requires knowledge for proper configuration and development
