Hello,
When trying to generate an excel report with contains excel pivot tables I get the following error:
"ERROR: The row index should not be inside the pivottable report"
I believe the issue is with the 2 pivot tables to the right (image below), but I don't know what is the issue. The pivot tables will grow to the right where there is nothing and never touch each other. Any idea why this happens? I haven't found anything about this error so far.
Best regards,

Hi,
What are tags on the C column? Are they columns? If yes, did you hide the headers?
Are tags on the G column pivot tables in the source connection? If yes why are you using pivot tables with fixed titles on the left?
I suggest you to place each single tag on a cleat template so you can see their behaviour and understand what is overlapping. Then remember to hide the headers and in case test the Expand rows option.

Hello Ruggero,
Thanks for your answer.
Columns B and C have respectively header and values for straight table objects I have imported from Qlikview.
Yes, Column G are in the source connection.
The reason I did it this way was because I felt that importing pivot tables from Qlikview with keep source formats or transforming a straight table to pivot table in excel was very unreliable on the column width. Sometimes it is far too wide or too narrow with no apparent reason that I was able discern. And since it was a requirement for what I'm doing, I'm trying to make it more reliable as possible.
I don't know if there is anything else that I might not be aware and that can help on this issue. What I am talking about can be seen on images below. Two excel sheets that are the result of cycling through a Page field. In both pages the width of columns H and I is far too different and I don't see a reason. It also resizes in excel to the correct width when I double click on the column width.
I did redo it on a clean template and the overlapping issue is now fixed, but I'm not too confident on why since I did not visually notice any objects overlapping. Still I'm taking your comments in consideration as I develop. Thank you.

In my case the issue resolved after selecting the rows in which the pivot table was placed and selecting the clear formats option.
