Naming the report

Hi,

I am new to NPrinting and would like to know how I can name my file in below format. For first and last part I know to use %%ReportName%% and %%UserName%%  but how can I include Type in the name %%Type%% this does not work, do I need to keep the type as static, if yes how can I do that. Please guide.

Output format is not dynamic so unless you duplicate your report and add the format/type to the name I dont see any other way of achieving it.

Hi,

Dynamic naming is documented at https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Dynamic-report-na.... Only the documented features are allowed.

You cannot change the report type dynamically from Excel to PowerPoint. They are two different types of templates. So you have to create two templates and add the type in the name as a fixed string.

Report output formats are documented in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/DistributionSchedulesAutomation/Repo...

Best Regards,

Ruggero
