Nprinting 17.1 is working with Qlikview 11.2 R13 in a standalone server.
QlikView is working with a desktop client, and it refresh the data everyday with a Windows task.
Nprinting is sending the same report everyday, and the data is not updating.
Maria,
It's a known issue.
See attached work around if you're using a server connection.
Best
Aran
Good morning,
my customer doesn't have qlikview server, but only qlikview desktop with local license.
How can we do?
Thanks,
Manuele
Hi Aran
thank you for the response, but we are working with a QlikView Desktop.
Regards, Maria Cecilia
Hi Manuele
are you refreshing the data with a .bat?
since we upgrade the server(more RAM) it started working better, not perfect, but better.
regards
Goodmorning Maria,
yes, with a .bat or directly in qlikview desktop with the reload button.
My server has 8 GB RAM...and the qvw used for the test has only 3 lines loaded by inline...A, B, C.
After the reload of a new line "D", nprinting doesn't refresh the data and shows only A,B,C.
thanks
Manuele
One workaround solution is force the restart of all NPrinting services after the reload of qvw in QlikView desktop.
net stop "service name"
net start "service name"

Manuele
Hello,
we have same problem.
THe Problem is not to reload data. Even if we manually reload data and save the qvw the problem persists.
The problem is that nprinting doesn't take the new data, even when the qvw has new data!
The problem could be a caching problem? when I kill all qv.exe on then nprinting server, then data is up to Date.
It was enough for us to address the problems of Nprinting 17.1, we decided to reinstall Nprinting 16 and start again.
Best regards
HI Manuele,
How do I line up this task with my tasks running in QMC?
