Nprinting mail sending

Hi All,

I need some help regarding the Nprinting client and server.I installed both client and server with trail key and completed all the settings also. But still some  gap is there to fill the requirement.

My requirement is like i have already existing application and in that am  sending the chart to users mail id's using macro.

Now the users suggested that try to send the same by using the Nprinting tool.

The charts should deliver to the users mail id's after reload for some apps and for some apps its based on scheduled time.

I hope you understand my requirement.

More Thanks,

AJay

Hi Ajay,

You can't reload an QV app from NPrinting.

You must scheduled your NPrinting Job in consequence (after the reload time).

The NP jobs run to create a template and distribute by email your project based on an QV app...

Thanks Francois for immediate help.

Any idea how can i send one sample chart to the users mail? I followed the existing links and pdf manuals ..but no luck.

I downloaded the versions 15.6.It will be very helpfull if your share any steps how to do that with hiding of your sensitive data.

More thanks,

Ajay

Ajay,

It's difficult to explain all the capacity of NPrinting in a thread...

But there is a NPrinting Community : http://community.vizubi.com/

It will be useful to start a project.

Hi Ajay,

Another option is to use command line batch scripting and windows task scheduler to trigger Qlikview job followed by Nprinting Job.

Use this link for writing a batch file for Nprinting Trigger

How to Run NPrinting in Command Line Mode with Batch Files – Customer Feedback for Vizubi

This thread tells you how to write a batch file for Qlikview Reload

Reload and save using command line

Hope this helps.

For using email setting in Nprinting first you have to check you mail connection under settings and send a test email. Then if you have the template already created , create a task and add Recipient. You should be fine after that.

Hi Ajay.

In NPrinting have you connected to a .QVW and created a document (excel, ppt, or word) with the object in it ?

Once this is done, as Francois says, you can schedule it to run automatically to send something to email.

I would recommend the help videos and knowledge base on the Vizubi website if you are having difficulty starting.

Regards,

Neil

As Neil mentioned ,You need to create a template(excel, word ,ppt) and putting the qlikview object (chart, table ) in it, then create a  task and then schedule the task for delivery(email or file server).

thanks

You can reload a qvw in NPrinting by setting up a Reload Task.

Also one can also trigger an NPrinting report via an XML request file.

I recommend you go to the Vizubi website (Vizubi created NPrinting) and post the question to Vizubi directly. They will give you a range of causes for this error message.
