Hi,
Some tasks are getting failed with the following error message "Execution for task 410bb7e7-2f7a-407b-8f91-5176ea8ff6aa failed for an exception System.Exception: Exceeded maximum number of retries. No report will be generated."
They aren't getting failed daily, some days they are getting generated fine. But whenever the task fails, the consecutive two tasks also fails with the same error message. Can someone please give more insights on this error.
I was talking about Event Log from OS Windows where NPrinting is running on.
NPrinting logs will not give you much information in regards to connectivity.
I think you will be better off if you open Qlik Support ticket for this case. You need to turn on Debug mode and check all logs. NPrinitng , Qlik Sense and OS logs from both servers.
The information you are providing here is too generic - all what we see is that connection to Qlik Sense was impossible when the task tried to run.
With support you might get a webex session and they will guide you through steps to collect all necessary data
regards
Lech
Thank you so much for the assistance Lech!, will open a qlik support ticket and work on this.
Hi,
Opening a ticket is a good idea.
First of all, you are using June 2017 that is a very old version. Please upgrade your installation to April 2018 and try again.
We also checked the logs and it seems a connection issue. The connection between Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting stops to work and we cannot understand the reason from the logs.
Are you connecting to the Qlik Sense hub by using the address https://kvm:553/? I mean, it the port 553 the correct port of your hub?
Best Regards,
Ruggero

Hi Ruggero,
Yes, we are connecting to the Qlik sense hub by using the address https://kvm:553/.
Ok, did you updated your installation to April 2018?
Nope, I didn't update my installation
