What is advantage of unifying qlik sense with qlik nprintting , while comparing to generating by qlik sense itself?
its like distributing the reports to the customers by daily weekly monthly reports
one single qvw/qvf -- you can generate with multiple filters of data to the multiple customers.
is this possible by qliksense? - No
Nprinting does- thats why we use nprinting.
NPrinting provides a lot of features and solution that Qlik Sense alone doesn't have:
Have a look at these videos to see what NPrinting can do.
I hope this helps

Thank you Chanty. But is it possible to make data transformation in Qlik Nprinting ? for example in load script of qlik sense we can make changes in field name sometimes we can get data based on certain condition. Is this possible in Nprinting?
You can not transform data in NPrinting. you can do some calculations but this is not what you want I guess.
what ever you create in Sense will be shown in NPrinting.
Okay Bram Thank You
Hi Baarthi,
OK gut, but why would you need to use a tool like Nprinting, when you can save your Report in QS, save in PDF and send it by email to the people?
What is the advantage of Nprinting when its worth paying extra for this.
Thanks,
Enrique
Hi,
Please use a meaningful discussion subject to let other people to understand the topic of the conversation.
It requires few seconds and a small effort.

The advantage of paying for this is that if you have lets say 100 people (for example sales reps) who are interested in receiving particular report in XLS or PDF or any other format and that report needs to have only their sales shown in it, then you will spend half of your day producing pdfs from Qlik sense, and then another half putting those reports through email in order to deliver it to them.
NPrinitng can do all that for you automaticly.
I suggest you go to help.qlik.com and search for videos which will help you understand what you can achieve with NPrinting.

Hi Lech,
Thanks for answer, I dont see it like this, if you already definy you Report in a Story tell, in 2 clikcs you would save your repord in pdf and send it to the email list.
Of course you would spend some time the first day that you define your report in Story telling but you do it once one time. I dont think departments are changing the reports every day.
cheers
Enrique
If it is one report per day then i agree, You are right - with one (maybe few) reports to be sent you dont need NPrinting.
My example comes from my experience as a Qlik Partner and consultant and comes from real clients. It happen that in some companies NPrinitng produces 500 individual custom reports and sends them not to one group of recipients but each individual report is dedicated for individual recipient and is sent individually
Sending 100 individual emails will not take you 2 minutes...right?
At the end - automation in static report generation + additional benefits in producing different formats of reports (such as XLS, DOC, HTML (also embeded), PPT, PDF... etc , are the pros of having NPrinting.
I will not try to convince you to buy it if you don't need it. All i can say is that there are companies which don't waste time on manual work and let the automated process handle report generation and distribution - those are willing to invest in such tool

Lech
