Qlik Nprinting Upgrade - do we have to re-activate the license?

Hello everybody,

First at all thanks for your time.

It's going to be my first time upgrading Nprinting (from May 2021 to May 2022) and I'd like to know if after upgrading Nprinting Server I have to re-activate my License again, I mean repeating all the process like with a new installation.

Best regards

Hello,

You shouldn't have to reactivate the license. Below in the link for best practices when upgrading Nprinting.

Hi @LDR
It is not necessary to activate your license again if this is an 'in place' upgrade.

However, if you are installing NPrinting on a different computer and restoring your NP database this new computer, then in that case, you need to apply your Qlik NP Product License.

Kind regards,..
