In one of our reports there are rows in the data that have same values for all the columns except the amount which is the last column, while some rows of data are unique and are not duplicated. Would like to sum the amount for the duplicate data and show one row with all the columns and the sum(amount) in the last column.
Would hate to do this in data model in Qlik sense as this requirement may vary for other reports. We are using Qlik Sense enterprise and Nprinting 17.6. Is there any way to do this in Nprinting with Excel template???
Hi Raghu.
This is little bit strange question as normaly you would have aggregation happening automaticly in Qlik Sense chart. I gues your "amount" column is a dimension and therefore produces multiple rows.
I do not expect you to change your data model, but maybe just create a chart (table) with dimensions you need for nprinting and with measure: sum(amount)?
I don't think there is a better solution for this!
As an alternative you would have to go an create a excel pivot table which does exactly what you are asking for!
cheers

Agreed. My bad. I had just dragged all the columns from the field list into the table including the numeric. After deleting and adding each column as a dimension and measure with making measure as the sum(..) it worked. I see how it works now.
Thanks Lech.
