Use NPrinting fields in word header

Dear all,

I would like to use Nprinting fields in the official word header. For Example, I would like to use a text like "Project Report - <ProjectName>" in the header and "Project manager: <ProjectManager> in the footer. So far, I have not managed to work with field information in header or footer. Can anybody tell if this is possible?

Thank you in advance.

Inserting data into header or footer is not supported. All other options are just workarounds to mimic header/footer behaviour by repeating something on every page of word document.

@MK73  Yes, this can be achieved. You will need to use Levels. Here is another thread of an example of how they use Levels in a Word Report Template as a header:

Let me know if this helps.

Additionally, you can use the PixelPerfect editor but that requires some mid-level development skills to do it.

Thank you for this hint. I am already using levels because I want to have a separate report for each project.

As far as I understand this, I would have to generate a separate 'header' or 'footer' on every page of the report. Unfortunately this would have to be below the official header or above the official footer. Correct?
