Hi Pamela, really interesting about the dual use licensing. Is there any standard pricing information for this feature?

"QlikView April 2019 includes support for unified licensing, which gives each user a single key to access both QlikView and Qlik Sense. This new licensing solution is particularly valuable to those who have taken advantage of dual-use licensing"

Many Thanks,

Peter

Hi @doplear01 Known issues are documented in the release notes attached to the initial post. You can also search at support.qlik.com for Qlik Support articles related to the April 2019 release. Simply search for April 2019 and filter the products on the right side page for Qlik Sense.

Hi @Pamela_Whitney, I have Qlik Sense Enterprise with february 2019 version and I want to update to april 2019. How I have to do for this? Do I have to download the setup.exe or the update.exe in the URL downloads?

Thank you very much.

@PuriVelasco access download as described in below Qlik Support article, and then install per instructions in below Qlik Sense Help page.

Thank you @ToniKautto  but in the septup.exe file in april 2019 version doesn't activate the upgrade version, only appears uninstall and repair. What do I have to choose?

@doplear01

You can don't load the release notes for QlikView and that will have what have been fixed and the known issues.

I downloaded the release files:  https://da3hntz84uekx.cloudfront.net/qlikview/12.40/124020000/QlikView%20April%202019%20Release%20No...

There is no "known issues" references, only:What’s new in QlikView April 2019, Upgrade notes, Bug fixes

There is other file?

Hi,

In most release notes there will be a section for Known issues.

It doesn't help so much to post a screen dump of an old Release Note, then the current one in question actually doesn't seem to include a "Known Issue" section. Then it doesn't really answer the question.

Hi @doplear01 @sspe_dgs_com  At the time of release, there weren't any known issues to highlight for QlikView April 2019 (12.40).  Once SR1 is available, if there are known issues, it will be referenced in the release notes as mentioned by Bill's comment above.  In addition, it may be possible that there are support articles, found at support.qlik.com,  that are related to the release.

It would then be better to include the Known Issue section and then just write that there are no known issues - then there are no confusion.

@sspe_dgs_com thanks you for your feedback. I will bring that to the release team for consideration on future release notes.

@PuriVelasco if the installer only provides uninstall and repair options, it means you already have the same installer installed.

@ToniKautto you are right. I thought I had installed february 2019 version some days ago, but I had installed april 2019 version. I saw it in QMC.

Thank you very much!!

Hi,

In November2017 version, when any value is selected in the list box, the selected item would remain in the same position, but in April 2019 release, the same list box, if the value in any position is selected, is displayed 1st.

Hello @jobsonkjoseph ! Do you mean QlikView? This is expected (see article number 000005635) and should have been the same behaviour for you before as well. The article I linked you shows how you can control this feature. I was able to confirm that it still works the same in QlikView April 2019.

Hello Sonja,

Thank you for the response. I've gone through the article shared. The state in sort is already unchecked and the second option "preserve scroll position" in layout tab is grayed out, i'm not able to check it.

Yes, i mean Qlikview.
