Cant open QVW Script

hello qlikView Community,

In our company we use a QlikView Script to collect Data about which department did what and when, so the Controlling Department can messure which procedure takes how many ressources.
Now the Path to this script changed a little and after  we custimozed our script, it alaways runs into an ODBC error or an eeror saying "no allowed filename".
The Question, is it a problem if the Path-/filenames contains spaces?

besites that there is also antoher problem i am facing: I can't open the file on my work PC to ensure that the script is written properly, because it was created with another PC. If i open it anyways and transfer it to my logged in user, can other users still open the file like they used to be?

Already thanks for your help!

kind regards,
A. Schmidt

Hello,

1. I would avoid using spaces and special characters?
2. I think you need to license your version of Qlikview Desktop. (review the link below)

As @Ray_Strother said, you will need a license. I am attaching a link to a FAQ about personal edition. There are much more detail and information.
