How to keep bookmarks, created by users, when migrating QlikView to new server

Hi,

We want to migrate QlikView to a new server and we want to keep bookmarks created by users.
Is it possible?
Could you tell us how to do it?

The user bookmarks are stored in the .shared or .tshared files.  Make sure you copy these files to the new server along with the QVWs.

Hi @dgrolleau,
In addition to Rob's great advice, have a look at Qlik Support article How to: Transfer server bookmarks between servers, domains, or users.  Be sure that you stop the QlikView Server service and move any .Shared/.Tshared from the Mounted Folders on the new server before you copy the preexisting .Shared/.Tshared files over to the new server.  Make sense?

If you are migrating the whole server you can just follow the steps in t he help. Past of the backup process is to copy the tshared/shared files

Upgrade and migrate QlikView
