MAPs into Qlikview--> Urgent help

Dear All,

We are planning to integrate MAPs into our Qlikview Dashbaords.

Kindly suggest cost efficient MAP extenstions to integrate with Qlikview.

What I understood after browsing is, Google MAPs license is 10000USD. For us it is too expensive. If we want to use the free API Key what are limitations(ex:Limit for number of hits in a day and Number of pointers we can place)

Few People are suggesting GeoQlik maps or Bing MAPs.

Please share the information about  the cost efficient MAPs  extensions for Qlikview along with  the pricing details.

We are having less than 100 users..

MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE.

BR,

Chinna

A free map extension is provided with QV 11.2. It integrates with OpenStreet maps. Try it out to see it meets your requirements.

See the Extension example that installs with Qlikview.

Hi Chinna,

I think Google maps is best option, because it works even in IE Plugin mode also, even the cost is very effective.

Check the Google maps pricing

How much will excess map loads purchased online cost?

Applications generating map load volumes below the usage limits can use the Maps API at no cost providing the application meets the requirements of the Google Maps API Terms of Service.

If your use of a Maps API service exceeds the usage limits for 90 consecutive days, and you choose to purchase excess map loads online using the Google APIs Console, your excess usage will be charged at the rates shown below for the service concerned. Note that if your site consistently generates a high volume of map loads per day a Google Maps API for Work license may be more cost effective and we recommend that you contact the Google Maps API for Work Sales team for more information.

ServiceUsage limit
(per day)
1,000 excess map loads
(in U.S. dollars)
JavaScript Maps API v325 000$0.50
Static Maps API25 000$0.50
Street View Image API25 000$0.50

Hi Chinna,

In your machine check below path

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Extensions and double click on Extension Examples.qar to install the Extensions in your machine.

Now in Qlikview select Geographic Heatmap or Qlikview Mapping Example extension.
