Addinf character to a field

Hi all,

i have account field which looks like this:

40001

40002

40003

is there any chance to add "_" between the numbers 1 ,2 and 3.

for example:

4000_1

4000_2

4000_3

left(account field,4) & '_' & right(account field,1) as newfield

left(accountfield,4) &'_'&right(accountfield,1) as AccountNEwField

from tablename;
