Adding a Map to the file

Dear Qlik Users,

I've got a file which includes latitude and longitude information. What I want to do is plot these points onto a map. Ideally where I can make selections over the map much as though it was a graph.

Can someone guide me as to how this is possible? It's very easy in the new Excel so I was hoping that this would be similar!

There are a number of options for adding maps into your qlikview apps. I have recently written a blog reviewing some of the options. Your best bet to get started is the QuickMap extension written by Brian Munz. It uses an OpenStreetMap API and tiles so is free to use.
