Enable wildcard search in list box

I have a field named Feature Tags which has entries like abcFTT, FTTxyz, pqFTTrs among others. User wants to search for all the entries having FTT in it but without having to type ' * ' character (i.e. *FTT*). Is there any way to do that?

I have tried the Default Search Mode option (Use Wildcard Search) but that enables it for all the data. I want it only for FTT.

I think this won't be possible. But maybe you could use two or more listboxes each adjusted with a listbox-expression to your special requirements - whereby if you creates them within a dimension group you could just stay by one listbox an dthe user could switch which dimension they want to see and to select.
