Loading history files takes a while and most of the time hangs

Good day Guru's

I left join 2 resident tables and attempt to store the temp table into a qvd and the application hangs and the memory reaches 100% and the script load fails. Any Ideas of what may cause thi to happen. I am trying to store about 1 00 000000 records.

Hello Kamiel,

are you sure the two tables contains the same field?

Otherwise QV joins 1.000.000 with 1.000.000 records =1.000.000.000.000 possible records

table a contains x,y,z and table b contains x,r,d

and how about the records?

Table 1 1.000.000.000 records with field x

Table 2 100 records with field x

results 100.000.000 records in the join-table

enough memory at your PC for that?
