I'm having 3 dimensions say country, segment, style. For now I'm showing country in the first column of the table and Values in the next successive columns. The next two dimensions say segment and style I have to make it as a dropdown in country column.(i.e. If I pick segment from the dropdown the first column should be populated by Various segments instead of various countries and values in the next column also should change accordingly. Is there any way to create such dropdown in qlikview?
You could create a DrillDown with those 3 fields. Instead of adding the 3 fields in the pivot table, find Edit Groups from Dimension menu, then create a new group with those fields, make sure you create a DrillDown Group, then you can use this new group as your Dimension.
Hope this helps, regards.

Have a look at Cyclic Groups and Drill-Down Groups. You can create these from the "Edit Groups" option on the chart Dimension tab.
Yes but I don't want drill down. I want to show the different dimensions as dropdown on the first column.
check the attached QVW.
Hello Shruthi,
I understood that we can create a group and add it instead of dimensions. I don't want to show it as a drill down rather I want to show it just a drop down. Is there any possibility?
I don't think you can do it with the properties of the charts. Also I think you can't show it as you can show it in Excel.
The only way I think you can do something aproximate is changing your table structure in the script in order to get the 3 fields into one only field, so you can show them in one column, one under the other, but is a fixed format... no way to collapse or expand...
