Hi guys,
Could you explain how to get different sizes for columns in pivot table.
I have 1 dimension and 3 expressions.
Names of expressions I want to have bigger, but result is smaller.
Sometimes it works with 1 dimension, sometimes with 2 level of dimensions.
Thanks,
Hi,
You need to activate Design Grid, Right click on desired cell and select Custom Format Cell. In the open menu you can modify text format for headers or columns
Hope it will hellp
Thanks for reply.
I want to column Feb 2014 make smaller. Left column keep the same size.
Now they are equal column widht
Regards,
In this case just put the mouse cursor on the column border, you will see the new type of cursor, left click and keep it, then you can change the column width.
Hi,
Actually
Keep your arrow on left of header you will see + sign of icon Press and change your width of your pivot table
Could you add more screen shots?
When you hoover over column border you might see cursor like in attachment, Once you see it - left click and move mouse left or right.
No, it keeps equal widht for both cells.
Please see my attached file.
You cannot resize only the column because this is dimension.
If you reverse dimension with expression you can do it.
Regards
Ya, I see... After such transformation you cannot do a lot. I'd suggest, if it's so necessary, to create dummy table/list box for the expression labels.
