I want to create Pivot table similar to Excel (as per attached s1.jpg). But it creates an additional column (as per attached s2.jpg).
See the heading "ShipCountry". Is it possible to create the PivotTable in qlikview similar to Excel Pivot.
What you do is....
You create a chart -> Pivot table.
Select all the dimensions and expressions you want.
Click finish.
Expend all the columns.
Click on the dimension you prefer to have at the top and keep your mouse button down.
Move your mouse to the top-right of the chart and make a few circular motions. You will see a blue arrow show up the second you start dragging the column. Keep making those motions until it points left instead of up.
Now... let go of the mouse button and... tada... you got what you want .
Maybe Caption properties can work for you:
Only write down your Caption title as you wish.
Hi, Deepak.
See the link below.

Hope this helps!
Please post a sample with data and we can create it for you.
My requirement as per attached screen shot s11.jpg, where "Shipcountry" is displayed as header and it should be displayed as additional column (similar to what we have in excel pivot). But in qlikview I am able to move the "Shipcountry" horizontally (s21.jpg). But I am not able to move it as header and hide the additional column
go to chart and select the select pivot table and give the two dimensions and expression than you get the pivot table
ShipCountry is not a new column, it is the label for the column headers. You can minimize the width of this column and optionally change the label in the dimension tab to a space. You cannot hide the item completely, but you can reduce its visual impact.
Thanks for reply. Any example where we can minimize the width of this column and optionally change the label in the dimension tab to a space. I tried to add space for "ShipCountry" but it displays wrong result.
Also, can we change the "ShipCountry" as header (as per attached scree shot)
