Qlikview and Qliksense

i'm going to use Qlik technology in the next mounths and i would like to ask you an advice ? Do you believe that i should start using Qlikview or Qliksense ? Can Qliksense replace all the functionalities of Qlikview(that i never used)

The answer depends on many things...

- If you are a new customer, most likely you need to start using Qlik Sense, because it's a newer tool, and it is the one that will be continuously developed in the future. It doesn't cover 100% of QlikView functionality, but you won't miss it if you never used it.

- If you are a new developer who is looking for a job, you might consider starting from QlikView, because vast majority of existing Qlik clients are still using QlikView, and you might have better chances of finding a job with QlikView skills.

- Keep in mind that the skills are mostly transferable. The interface is different, but the most important concepts and techniques are universal.

if you are looking for the learning prospective so first use qlikview because there a lot of things available to learn on qlik community, but if you are a user then use qliksense because qliksense is very good in presentation.

As per concept point of view Qlikview and Qliksense have same data modeling concepts and diff in both tool is about GUI qlikview is better for learning GUI you will learn more from Qlikview.

Till now which technologies you worked and what is your IT exp if you elaborate that we will give correct guidelines to you.

any way pre-requisite knowledge for(QlikView /Qlik Sense) QV/QS are

-->Data base Knowledge (Oracle,Sql server...etc)

-->Data Warehouse concepts like (Schemas,Diff b/w Dimension and Fact Tables)

and some more business related ideas i mean which you working those Domains(Health care,banking,Expport import..etc)

Note:-Preferable QS after QV learning.because QV is foundation for QS.
