Hi all,
I have an issue with formatting when sending to excel and I was hoping someone can help. I have a table with several dimensions and expressions. When I send to excel, a couple of number and date columns always come out as text. Is there any way to force the format when exporting to excel?
Thanks
Goto Settings->Document Properties->Number(Tab)->Select date field->Set Number Format Setting as 'Date'.
From Qv desktop->Help->About QlikView->at the left bottom of new window qlikview symbol(easter egg)->Right click->ExcelExportMixedAsText ->Set it to '0'
Hi,
There is one way
Go to Help Menu->select About Qlikview->right Click on Qlikview Symbol(Which you found in left Bottom corner)
->Then Setting Screen Will appear->select ExcelExportMixedAsText->change it to 0
Regards
Thanks,
that did fix the number issue but now dates come out as numbers too (unless if I explicitly say Date() in the dimension).Is there another way to get around this for dates?
No,
For Date Field you have to explicitly Convert it that it is Date by using Date()
Regards
Goto Settings->Document Properties->Number(Tab)->Select date field->Set Number Format Setting as 'Date'.
The fix suggested by treseco worked. thank you.
Hi, This is not happening when I download the data from access point. the issue still exists
