Are you using QlikView server without Publisher?
If so, you need to create a QVW file with the same name as the deleted app. A blank QVW will do. Save this to the folder where the file was deleted from.
Then you can access the document properties in the QMC and delete the reload schedule. Once the reload schedule has been deleted, you can delete the QVW again.
If you have publisher it will show deleted apps in the orphans tab.

Hi,
Your file may be sitting as Orphan.
In QMC, go to Documents->Source Documents->Expand the tree where your file previously existed.
Look out for a folders Orphans.Expand that. Check if your file exists, If so Delete!!
Thanks,
Prabhu

For the documents which appears on the server.
try to create a empty qvw file in the same location as that of previous location.
and now go to sourse document/users document depending onm the type of license you have.
delete the task from there, and now delete the physical file.
Now sure for that the tasks will be deleted from status tab.
Hopefully will resolve your problem.

Or You can follow these steps
so far the only way you can get it done is creating an identical named file, and in the QlikView Enterprise Management Console going to the Documents tab, Reload task, and disable the task or set it to none and then click on Apply (Repeat for each task you want to delete).
Then the tasks should have gone in the Status tab of the QEMC, and now you can delete the files.
Take special care if those files had Document CALs assigned to them, since you can "miss" these licenses if you delete the file before unassigning them. If you need to recover them, the process is the same as above, recreating the file (no need to restore from a backup, just an empty file with the same, case sensitive name file) and deleting the assignments in the Document CALs tab of each document affected.

Hi, Agnivesh.
Please look at Steve Dark's instructions on how to remove orphaned apps from your QMC.

Try this, work for me, i change the document folder, and on the status tab, the task show with red warning.
Go to status tab, task option, select and edit the task, on reload tab, disable the task and select none on the reload schedule.

Hi Agnivesh,
Can you please try this.
Go to Documents -- Source documents tab on QMC, then right click on the task and delete it.
Once you delete it here in the documents tab, go to status tab and you will see that the task is now deleted.

Thanks ,
But resolution for this problem is :
Just go to orphan folder and remove task from there also after deleting.
Task will not be shown in Status Tab.
