Set Analysis

Hi All,

I am getting an error as "error in set modifier ad hoc element list"

Can someone help me with what is possibly wrong..

=Num(Sum({<Year ={$(V_Year)}>} [Net Sales]),'#,##0')

I have defined V_Year as a variable with defn Max(Year)

The below is not giving error but displays a zero for previous year

=Num(Sum({<Year ={$(V_Year-1)}>} [Net Sales]),'#,##0')

What do you get when you create a text box with Text:

=V_Year

Modify as below and give a try

=Num(Sum({<Year ={$(=(V_Year)-1)}>} [Net Sales]),'#,##0')

Define  Variable  v_Year  as

=Max(Year)

This is displaying a 0

I had to put the =Sign.

It resolves my problem.
