macro to write to an existing custom template excel file

Can some one help or guide me about a macro to write to an existing custom  template excel file

with excel  cell having ability to select from a list of default values.

hi, you have to use macro vba functions, i atached an old pdf with definitions and an old qvw file with the description and examples of every function

dont forget that you can record your macros n excel, for example deleting a cell or putting a value into a cell, then you can use that code and do little modifications to make it work with qlikview

@gopal5879 In addition to what Fabian gave you, which will be our APIs, you may also need Excel APIs in which case Microsoft Visual Basic Forums are going to be the place to go for help with those, as the experts will be there in this case.
