set analysis expression

Hello,

I need explanation for how the below set analysis is calculated and whats the difference in using max and onyl function:

sum([product value])/exchangerate)-(sum({$<year={$(=only([year])-1)}, Month={$(=only([Month]))}>)[product value]/exchangerate)))

Can you post your working expression?

sum([product value])/exchangerate)-(sum({$<year={$(=only([year])-1)}, Month={$(=only([Month]))}>)[product value]/exchangerate)))

This expression have lots of mistake like bracket closing,set analysis closing

Check it

well i found it on the web somewhere and just wanted to understand it

of how to define modifier and identifier , and why and where all'=' is used
