Hi guys,
When using the plugin to view a report, some users can use the advanced search option, and others can't.
It doesn't seem to be related to the version of IE or the version of windows as it works for some and not others.
Has anyone any ideas for this that I can try to get it working?

Do they all use the same version of the IE QlikView plugin?
The user is on IE8 but tells me others with IE8 can use the advanced search option.

The IE plugin (not the IE itself) has also versions and the latest should be installed
No, I was thinking about the version of the plugin itself, not the IE version.
Have these users tried to access the application via plugin from the same system?
Just to check if it's system or user depending.

you can download it from qlik.
the plugin should be the same version as your server or newer
The plugin should come with your server installation, you should see a link in the access point.

the correct version of the plugin, i.e that which matches the server install is supplied as part of the serer software installation, you can find it in C:\Program Files\QlikView\Server\QlikViewClients\QlikViewPlugin, there's two copies, one for Windows 8 and another for everything else.
