Calendar extension object is not working as expected

We are trying to implement the Multi date selection feature to the user, as we aware there is only one way to achieve this that is with Calendar Extension objects.

to test it working mechanism we downloaded the Calendar extension app from the below link.  

Please guide us where we doing wrong. Thanks Much in advance.

Thanks Much for your time, really appreciate your help on this.

Any way to get this extension from some body who customize script for us, I got to know that few people create extensions which are suitable for our environment.

And another thing is its bit strange that no one is using this type of extensions in there projects... ??

Hi, developing extensions is almost an unknown territory for me, neither I know somebody to customize them (there should be somebody but I don't know)

I usually try to work with standard objects (calendar, listbox with months/periods, variables...) or supported extensions (mainly Geoanalytics -just an example, it has nothing relative to date selections-)

An alternative for selecting ranges can be using variables like explained in this post: https://community.qlik.com/t5/New-to-QlikView/How-to-select-a-range-of-dates-from-list-box/td-p/4758...

Or using expressions that filters dates using set analysis: https://community.qlik.com/t5/New-to-QlikView/The-use-of-variables-to-filter-a-date-range/td-p/32472...

Thanks again, yeah that last link is given by one of our onsite lead to check the possibility of implementing the same in our environment but nothing is working as expected.

I have exp in using few Map extensions earlier, and they are quite easy to implement and worked fine at that time.

Any way thanks much for all your time for this issue.
